I bet I'd be the same way if I had a Harley. I got a bike because it was a hobby I could enjoy by myself. They are just motorcycles. They all mean something special to the person who owns it. Exactly!!!! Guys, stop hating on Harley's. It's just a company that makes bikes. Some people like Roadstars and some people like Harley's. We're getting away from what really matters--life on the road. If anything happens to my bike, I might consider buying a Harley--they're great bikes with a great heritage. And, they hold their financial values much better than Roadstars. You ain't gonna get squat for your bike if you try to see it. But I think that could hold true for any bike if you found the right buyer. The problem is you have to be able to find the right person looking for exactly what you have. I believe the "value is in the eyes of the beholder" - so to speak. With this economy it would only make things more difficult, but not impossible.
